This hotel gets high marks despite that astonomically high dollar figure to stay here. The folks at the desk were efficient, friendly and hard working. The rooms were very clean and quiet. This is a must for me when it comes to travel. The location of the hotel is not the greatest. You are not near anything of any significance at all and must take a car to get downtown. While it may only be about 10 miles to downtown, the extremely congested traffic will cause this trip to be about a half hour. If you book this hotel, you can be rest assured that you will feel as though you are in the comforts of a well-run Western hotel.

Just for Business & Airport

Best Western Chain standard in terms of room and bathroom. Good and various breakfast. This hotel is a really good choice if you need to fly next morning. I spent one night in this hotel on 2007 and I went by taxi to OTP Airport. I've been there in less than 15 minutes (it was on a Tuesday at 10.30 AM !). If you're going to see the City, you need to rent a car or to ask the reception for a taxi. There is not any subway or bus station around the hotel. What you can do (if you don't want to walk far away from the hotel) is to visit the Village Musem (which is a very nice open air museum) or Herastrau Park. However, both these alternatives are useless on wintertime. It was a business travel and a business flight, so I was happy with this hotel (booked and payed by my company). The hotel is definetly not a good choice if you want to visit the city.

I stayed several times in this hotel because the company i work for, always makes the reservations there. So i think i can give other travellers some tips. If you want to eat, you can go to "Taverna Sarbului", a restaurant which is only 5 min. away on foot. (i think is the only one in the area). The place looks nice, have excellent food and prices are ok. If you want to buy soda, wine, beer and snacks, you shoud go to the Petrom gas station which is nearby ( 10 min. on foot). In the hotel you will pay a lot for this kind of things. Rooms are clean and functionals, breakfast is good and varied, staff is generaly helpfull. If you need a taxi tell the receptionist to call one.
