My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Raffaello for 4 nights in July 2008 as part of our anniversary/second honeymoon. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance from Termini Station, a couple of Metro stations and several popular tourist sights including the Colossium/Roman Forum and Trevi fountain. The hotel and the rooms are clean, fresh and nicely decorated. For the most part the staff are friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the hotel lacks in-room internet access which is almost a requirement these days. The little 14" TV looked cheap and seemed out of place for such a nice hotel, I'd recommend they start updating to inexpensive LCD flat screens - clock radio/alarm clock in the room would be helpful also. Overall a lovely little hotel that we fully enjoyed and would certainly return to and recommend to others planning on visiting Rome in the near future.

I stayed here at the end of June, 08. The hotel was in a great location. It was only a bit over a block away to the central train station and all the buses and taxis. I walked into town and it only took 20 mins. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. The hotel was very clean, beautiful room with great air conditioning! The breakfast wasnt very nice. The juice was warm and tasted old. The food was very dry, not very fresh. So if your booking, just ask for no breakfast. There are plenty of reasonable places to eat. I felt very safe at this hotel and enjoyed my stay. I would stay here again.
