This hotel is really one of the high-level hotels in Porto. Was previously Sheraton, which moved to a new building not far away for this present location. Rooms are fine and great view. Drwback is the location, not so convenient to go to city centre. Subway (Casa Musica) is not that close and buying ticket is not that easy (didn't see any counter to buy ticket). There are no bus route map (asked the Tourism Authority!). Go have a look to the famous bridge built by Gustave Eiffel (Eiffel Tower in Paris). Go to have some Seafood in MATOSHINHOS. Restuarant in the hotel are rather expensive. You can find a Japanese restaurant (without any Japanese chef though), Italian and International. Haven't tried the SPA.

I wish I'd had the experience of other reviewers. If I hadn't prepaid for the hotel through Orbitz (a huge mistake), I would have driven across town to ANY hotel other than this. I arrived in the late afternoon by car. Despite what I was told, there was no discounted parking. I was told right then that I would have to pay 1.30 euros PER HOUR to park there - and I had booked for three nights. (This totaled 79 euros, BTW). I was shown to my room, which contained two single beds. I had reserved a double for myself and my husband. So after about a half an hour, they moved me to a tiny corner room with a view of heating vents. There was barely room to turn around. The hotel's location leaves a lot to be desired. It was basically a business district and a LONG walk to tourist sites and the train station. I ended up cabbing it to the waterfront several times making this 'bargain' not cheap at all. The front desk was very brusque, and worst of all scratched the rental car on my way out.
