When we eventually found the hotel, we thought it was "quite off the beaten track", but it was actually very central to a big shopping area in Porto. There are a couple of metro stations about 5 minutes walk from the hotel, which was really handy. You can get the metro direct from the airport to the metro station close to the hotel.
The hotel staff were really friendly and helpful, and took our bags in for us for a few hours before we could check in. Our hotel room was large and comfortable, but could probably do with freshening up. The room was very clean, but tired and could do with re-decoration. The bathroom was clean and tidy, but again would really benefit from some re-decoration.
The continental breakfast was adequate, with unlimited hot and cold drinks. I certainly couldn't complain about the breakfast as we only paid 53 euro's for 2 night's bed and breakfast! The choice of breakfast wasn't huge, but it was plentiful and we filled up on rolls, cheese, ham and cereal.
If you want somewhere that's cheap, cheerful & basic and very central, then this is the hotel for you. If you're looking for some luxury, then this probably isn't the place for you!
