Best Western Hotel Inca - Porto, Portugal     

I booked the hotel using their own website: all the other usual sites gave me no availability, but I was able to book a double room at a very interesting price. Arriving in Porto by car, it was not easy to find the hotel, even with my GPS: Porto is a wonderful city, but its hill construction and many one-way road can be a problem!! Anyway, arriving at the Hotel at midday, we were given our room by a very nice and helpful receptionist. Yes, the room is small, with old-style beds and tables. The radio was not working, but the main things were perfect: A/C, bathroom, cleaness.. Car can be parke din the public parking right in front of the hotel: it is not covered, but it is safe due to the Police station just near the hotel entrance, and on saturday and Sunday it is free. Turistic places are at least about 20 minutes walking, but taxi can be easily called by the reception. Breakfast is served in a nice room, and it is perfect for a turistic day in Porto. The hotel need to be renwed, expecially in its fornitures and services. Can be a little "dark", old style, maybe similar to one of the old style hotel you find in easter Europe. But the interesting price, the good service and their quick responce to your request is something to be considered in your choice of a Porto Hotel.

Das Hotel Best Western Inca liegt direkt im Zentrum unweit einer U-Bahn Station und des Rathauses. Wer möglichst alles zu Fuß oder mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln erreichen will ist hier richtig. Das Hotel ist im Stil der 70er Jahre erbaut. Die Zimmer sind klein aber sauber. Das Bad ist halt schon ein paar Jährchen alt aber sonst OK. Das Frühstücksbüffett ist in Ordnung. Insgesamt verdient es vielleicht keine 4 Sterne. Den für meine Begriffe günstigen Preis von 55,- € für das Doppelzimmer ist es aber allemal Wert.
