Hotel Marina Atlantico - Ponta Delgada, Portugal 

Spent 7 nights in the Ponta Delgada earlier this year staying in the Marina Atlantico. Location: The hotel has a perfect location in the city, overlooking the harbour. A bridge connects to the harbour area, and the entire town is nearby and walkable. There's lots of parking behind the hotel (you'll probably want to hire a car) and the buses stop nearby too. Hotel: We had B&B in the hotel, and the breakfast food was very good. There's heaps of space to sit around the lobby and out the front of the hotel, but there's way too much to see on the island to have time for that! Had dinner in the hotel one evening - it was nice (very fish-oriented), but there are heaps of great restaurants around the town, so make sure you check them out! Room: Make sure you ask for a room with a view (it's worth the few extra quid if you have to pay)! You can't beat a room service meal on the room balcony, and it's good value! Room was lovely and clean - no problems at all.

Hotel Marina Atlântico is a beautiful modern hotel right oposite to the marina and a short pleasant walk from the Ponta Delgada historic centre!!The location could not be better...it is also very convenient from/to the airport. The Hotel itself is very bright with excellent modern decor and confortable common areas. We have stayed in a triple room witch had a good size and a great bathroom with a lot of amenities! Excellent buffet breakfast served in the restaurant with marina views. Free parking and indoor swimming pool. Helpful and efficient staff. I am sure that Marina Atlântico hotel is the best option to stay in Ponta Delgada!
