We got a very fine double room with a balcony to the backside of the hotel (pool side), and could enjoy the sunshine every morning. The room was excellent and cleaning and service was just fine. The staff was very helpful and kindly, and there was a good atmosphere. The breakfast buffet was fine with a good variety of stuff, suited to satisfy almost everyone. The surroundings of the hotel was very quiet and peaceful with a little park nearby, a green spot where you could enjoy a cup of coffee looking at the children playing or dogs and doves bathing in the fountain.. Coming from Marques de Pombal Square
To get to the hotel, go round the Marques de Pombal round about, following Braancamp Str, at the second street turn to your right (as a reference there's a Macdonalds), after going up Rodrigo da Fonseca Str. at the first street turn left, going straight until the crossroad Fábrica dos Pentes.

Coming from the Rato Square
You should go along Amoreiras Str. after the arc turn right, keeping left until you find the crossroad Trv. Légua da Póvoa. At the end of this street turn right onto Artilharia Um Str and right again so that you get onto the Fábrica dos Pentes crossroad where you will find the Hotel.

Lisbon Airport (LIS): Approximate driving time is 15 minutes and distance is 3,7 miles (6 km). Taxi fare from the airport cost approximately 12 €. (Around US$15 depending on Euro-Dollar exchange rates).

By Bus. Get the Hotel Shuttle from CARRIS ( 3.10 Euros / person ) to Marques do Pombal Square. From there you must walk along Av. Duarte Pacheco (uphill) and then turn to your left at Artilharia Um. Go all along this street until the end, turn to your right and you will see the Hotel. The Hotel is at 10 minutes walking distance form Marques Pombal Square.

Actually 's not bad area around and the hotel was in a good locationa nd easy walking distance to the barrio alto. Staff were helpful, the room was comfortable.
