4.8Excellent service from a terrific front desk staff who spoke flawless English and bent over backwards to give us insider tips, make reservations for us, etc. Particularly (manager?) Paulo was a gem.
On the whole, this is a cute, well-designed hotel at a great price. The decor is fun and stylish, but not expensive-grade. Standard rooms are the normal small euro size, but nice. Good bathrooms and other amenities. Very new. The location is just off the Metro, in a surprisingly nice neighborhood that has cafes, restaurants, a couple malls, car-rental, and more. We were in Baixa in a few minutes by Metro, and most cab rides were under 5 Euro. The neighborhood was safe, quiet, and an incredible deal. Normally we like to be right in the middle of it all, but given how accessible everything was, save your money by staying at the Zenit and spend it on taxis and great restaurants...
