This was a fine stay, but more mediocre than anything else. There's no local flavor or anything, the breakfast is fine but simple, the maids are very nice. How this is a 4 star hotel, I have no idea. I'd say more like 2? The location is good but there are much better options, especially for the price. The room is completely bare bones, the beds and pillows aren't comfortable at all.

We hade a great stay at this Residencial, probably family owned and not the ordinary Hotel, with both Pros and Cons. Try to get a room away from the street. ++++

Hôtel très bien situé. Le personnel est très accueillant, parle français et ils ont répondu à toutes nos questions avec le sourire. Le petit-déjeuner était très bien. Excellent rapport/qualité prix, je le recommande vivement

I really enjoyed a restaurant five minutes' walk from the hotel, the O Forninho Saloio, Traversa das Parreiras:very friendly staff and excellent 'bacalau al forninho' which costs only 13€ for two.

A small bed and room, not really for two people, but very clean. Receptionist kind and efficient.
