We have just spent three nights in the Golden Tulip for our friends birthday. The hotel is in a good position within walking distance of most of the sights (Lisbon is situated on several hills so be prepared). The hotel staff are very helpful and friendly and the rooms are clean, modern and comfortable. The pool is welcoming, clean and warm especially after a hard days sight seeing. We didn't eat in the restaurant in the evening but the breakfast was ample with a wide variety the will suit everyone even the most picky of eaters. We were nearly put off staying at the Golden Tulip Altis Hotel after reading some of the reviews but are glad we weren't.
