The Solar de Mos hotel is a small clean and welcoming place with clean comfortable rooms all with balconies, mine overlooked the pool area and enjoyed the sun for most of the day.
The hotel has a small bar in fact so small that its impossible not to make conversation with other guests (handy for me as a lone traveller). The place is run by Carlos and his sister Lena and they cant do enough for you, Carlos cooks evening meals if ordered before 12pm with fresh produce purchased that day, I never ate there but did see some of the meals and they looked lovely.
The place is a bit of a walk into Lagos town but only 4 euros by taxi.
Thanks to Carlos and Lena also Ben the barman and Chantelle and also the nice people that I met at the bar Pat an Kiki.
