We stayed here as part of a bike tour through tuscany. The hotel staff was very friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The rooms were beautiful and the bathrooms were excelent and well equipped. Their breakfast was the best that we had during our 10 days touring Italy. The location was a short stroll from the main square in Certaldo where it is easy to catch the funicular up to Certaldo Alto.
