Lovley little basic hotel with fridge and tv in room. Continental breakfast ony but plenty of it. Roof top pool - not heated and small but never too crowded during our visit,nice sunbathing facilities alots of beds in a clean area with toilets so you didnt have to go back to your room to change etc. Staff were polite and friendly and looked concerned at the one small niggle we had - however they failed to address it. They wrote it down listened sypathetically but took no action. And it was still not resolved as we left. They are building new apts across the road - not noisy or intrusive just spoils the view from the pool. Good location as the old town and beach are minutes away but there is a step hill up to the hotel and it is not suitable for the disabled or anyone who has walking difficulties.

went on the 18 june 2008 for 10 days rooms were very basic but clean had a fantastic holiday staff were very helpful especially AUBREY. location fantastic breakfast was continental very good selection. we was in a party of 7 all of us would go back to the colina do mar had a fantastic time.

The Colina do mar hotel is in a fab location. Rooms are clean (cleaned daily), spacious and comfy. There are extra pillows and blankets in the wardrobe (in case you need them), and room has a mini fridge. Breakfast is average. Rooftop pool is tiny and the area around the pool is cramped, so hit the beach instead if you want top up the tan. The hotel is up a steep hill, so make sure you pack some comfy shoes (no heels). The weather has been warm, but it can get a little chilly in the evening so pack a cardi. If you get the chance, do visit Vilamoura.....it really is beautiful there.
