I booked to Stay for 5 nights in The Ondamar through Opodo. With mixed reviews I really didn't know what to expect. But having only paid ?99.98 for 5 nights stay I was a bit worried. When we arrived, at 11am, we were told the room would still be an hour before it was ready, however, in the end the room was not actually ready till 4pm. I wish they had just said that in the first place. I booked a studio on a room only basis, and it was MASSIVE. Had a full kitchen which is bigger than mine at home including the usual toaster, kettle etc, but also including a full cooker with 4 hobs and oven, full size fridge and dishwasher. I couldn't believe my eyes. I went with my husband and we ate out every night, but if you had a young family this would be ideal, to be able to make proper meals and not have to wash up! Word of warning though, they do not supply dishwasher tablets, and we felt it wasn't worth buying a whole box to only use 1 or 2. We did however have breakfast and lunch in the apartment on the balcony which overlooked the swimming pool, really relaxing. The pool was too cold, but I usually find that unless its heated pools are a bit cold. The health centre, indoor pool, jacuzzi etc were pretty minging. Quite dirty and old, also you had to buy a swimming cap from reception, you weren't allowed in the indoor pool unless you wore it, very strange! It was too hot to be in there anyway. Overall, a good hotel, for the price I paid, don't think I would pay any more than that though. I might go back later in the year, although I can't seem to find it that cheap again anywhere online now! Biggest dissaspointment was that both the indoor bar and the pool bar were shut, (we went April 24th - 29th so could be cause it was out of season). Bad though, as you could not buy a thing in the hotel apart from in the evening restaurant, which we didn't try. Would be nice to at least be able to buy a drink. We bought our own from shops around and ate by the pool.

Breakfast rip off

We stayed here for 6 days and thought the hotel was lovely, the maid kept our room very clean. The pool was cold and they could probably change the awful music they have by the pool. My partner had booked this hotel on the internet and realised afterwards that he booked 'room only', so when we got to the hotel we asked if we could add breakfast to our stay if we wanted to, they said we could and pay on checking out. Bearing in mind we only stayed for one breakfast, because we thought we could get better and cheaper elsewhere. On checking out the hotel said we owed them 96 euros for the breakfasts, we explained we only had the one and was told to give our details and they would get back to us. So be careful if doing the same as us. All in all we thought the hotel was lovely, breakfast wasnt fantastic and the weather was awful, but you cant predict the weather.
