The air conditioned à la carte restaurant Grill das Amendoeiras invites guests to indulge in some top cuisine. A buffet restaurant, 24-hour room service, a coffee shop and 2 bars (one with live music) are also available.

Guests may select their breakfast from a buffet, served from 07.00 till 10.00.

Lunch and the evening meal are served in buffet-style or table d’hôte, according to occupancy. Dinner may be taken à la carte. Special dietary requirements as well as individual-specific dishes or children menus may be prepared on request. In the summer months there is a weekly barbecue.

Restaurant Montechoro served lunch from 12:30 to 14:45 and dinner from 19:30 to 21:45.

Restaurant Grill das Amendoeiras serves dinner from 20:00 to 23:00 from Tuesday to Saturday. It is closed on Sunday and Monday.

Bambu coffee shop is open from 10:00 to 22:00.

Bar Almohade opens from 17:00 to 01:30.

Just spent 2 weeks in the hotel montechoro. On arrival at night we were given our key card and room number. No information was provided about bar, restaurant, gym, pool location. Nothing about safety deposit boxes or that the light switches in the room are located at the side of a table betwee the 2 beds. All the rooms have is a tiny T.V, beds and a bathroom. No cooker, fridge, kettle, toaster...NOTHING!! We quickly found out that a fridge could be rented at a cost of 4 euro a day!! Rooms very dated although kept very clean every day. Now to the service. It was an absolute joke. It was extremely slow, unfriendly, unprofessional. It drove me crazy. Prices in the hotel were expensive and most of the bars and restaurants in the strip and old town are now charging as much as they can for food and drink. 2.50 euro in the hotel for 15 minutes internet says it all. I enjoyed my 2 weeks with my family but i definetly wouldnt stay in this hotel again!!

We had to pick the Montechoro at short notice after our original hotel was double-booked and to be honest our expectations were probably lowered as a result. Overall we had a great time on our holiday and the Montechoro was a good part of that. Its very clean, maid service is every day and the breakfasts were great with plenty to choose from. We were only B&B so I couldn't comment on the other meals, though some guests we spoke to said they were quite good. The only complaint I would have is that anything additional they charge for, from the kids entertainment to the evening entertainment. This didn't bother us much as we went over to the Old Town as much as possible. The location of the hotel is good as you are far enough away from the action and we had a great night's sleep every night. We have young kids and they loved it, they were at the pool and made friends easily. I would recommend this hotel if you are looking for a clean place that is family-friendly.
