Bellavista is further from all amenities, in a very quiet area, up a hill on cobled stoned footpaths, certainly not suitable for elderly or pram pushers. It was spotlessly clean and staff seemed very friendly. The room was nice, but the balcony was small. We had been informed that our room would be upgraded due to all the hassle we had, however this never happened. The hotel was very clean and tidy and the service was courteous. A sofa- which could be made into a third bed if needed. Have to admit, it would be a good idea if every member of staff slept on one of their beds for a night. I actually like a firm bed but these are only marginally better than sleeping...... This hotel is very comfortable, with excellent facilities and decor. The huge marble reception greets you while the welcoming reception staff serve with a smile.
