What Travellers Like

The apartments, pool, poolside, restaurant, reception and bar area where all spotless. The apartments were very clean and towels were provided at least every other day. To get to the top apartments you did have to climb a narrow spiral staircase, which could be a problem for the elderly or small children. Each block of apartments shared a jacuzzi on the roof top which were very very clean but also very very cold. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool was covered over at the time of our visit.. Read review

All the staff at bayside were very friendly and so were the locals. One entrance to the apartments made people feel safe walking back to there apartment after a night in the bar, which let me tell you was cheep and cheerful. Kids meals (5 Euros) includes a main meal (which 1 done my niece and nephew between them) a drink and huge ice cream after. The pool was great, being covered meant no fly’s etc… can fly in, it was a little cold but ask at reception and they will turn the heater on. There was a small pool for children and also a sand and park area. It tells you that on the website) It is about 4km from the Zoo marine (for those with kids (7euros in a taxi).. Read review

The kids loved it so did i the supermarket was a little stroll away the rooms were basic but who wants to cook on holiday anyway they were very clean though the food in the bar/restraunt was nice and it was also cheap the staff were all very friendly 1 imperticular "RICARDO" he was great.. The staff couldnt of been more helpful, hardworking and friendley. The apartment was spottless and cleaned every day, clean towels every other day. Pool lovley and clean, food in the restuarant excellent and good value for money. Wonderful bakery on the corner, also doing english breakfasts if you fancied a change. Breakfasts at bayside great value for money, 5 euros including fruit juice and coffee.. Read review

Lovely beaches, food, people etc Bayside staff are lovely and very helpful - no problems there! Ok rooms are basic - but very clean and bright and gardens and surrounding area are well kept.. Read review

Eating out, i would reccomend the chinese which is only about 15min walk away and great food and cheap and the italian prima pasta is nice which again is only 15min walk but thats it im afraid apart from that its a case of cabs into town every night. Best place we found was a bar called scoobys which is a 10min cab ride away and only about 4euro, they have great swimming pool, kids play area, crazy golf, indoor play area, great food, we only found it on our last week and spent every day there after. If you need any local info while you there then the chap who owns the little shop on the corner is brilliant.

200 in cabs and they drove so fast i was scared for our safety especially as i was holding my 6mth old on my lap!

The Appartment was really clean and tidy, towels were changed every other day but the cleaners came every day. Staff were great and entertainment every night what a fab holiday.

As Bayside is little bit away from other places we decided to hire a car straight from the airport as this saved us money on taxis and allowed us to travel around easily.

There was very little room for storage other than the double wardrobe and in the bathroom the only self was over the toilet and meant for spare towels only. When we first arrived we were given a room on the ground floor on the shady side of the complex which got no sun at all so we asked reception if they had anything else and they said not today but they had people checking out the next day and they might have something better then so to give them their due the next day we changed to an upper floor room which was better altogether.
