Location

Ząb is only 10 kilometers from the ski resort town of Zakopane. The area attracts visitors year round, however, with its many walking and cycling routes through rich meadows and woodland.

Gubałówka mountain is about one hour walk from the hotel. 1000 meters above the sea level, there is snow here for up to 6 months a year, with many ski slopes with lifts in the area. The slope by the hotel is flood lit and provides artificial snow if needed. The hotel rents out ski equipment (skis, snowboards e.t.c.) and provides repair services.

Zab is a small area 2km outside of Zakopane and much much nicer. Absolutely wonderful, peaceful location. The hotel was very new, built in alpine chalet style, very clean, nice rooms. Breakfast was really nice with a wide variety of meat, cheeses, salads as well as a hot selection. It has a verandah where you can have a drink overlooking the moutains and countryside. Only thing that let this hotel down was the fact that they served us raw chicken and pork chop when we ate there one of the nights - cooked on the outside but very soft and raw on the inside so beware. However, lovely hotel, beautiful countryside, can't wait to go back.
