I stayed at the brand new Hilton Warsaw 20 - 23 April 2007 - and the hotel was only open for about a month at that time. And EVERYTHING worked perfectly! Staff was really nice, all pretty young and very friendly - very welcoming and just thrilled to be having you as their guest, haven't felt this welcome in a hotel in a long time. The hotel is about 20 minutes walking from the Presidential Palace/Historical Centre, a nice and un-complicated walk, even as a single female never had a problem with it, or alternatively just a 3 minute hop by taxi - which costs only around 3,00 Euro for the ride - taxis are incredibly cheap! (Same system as in other Central European cities - you need to call them, so get your restaurant in town to call you one when you want to leave, easy and safe) And bring your workout/swim gear, the hotel has a fantastic spa&club - a huge "Holmes Place", amazing!

Probably the best hotel in Warsaw! Great, spacious room, huge bathroom, super quick lifts with TV! Excellent service, quick and efficient! Great food at the restaurant and lobby bar and not pricey at all! Lobby looks great, shining! Excellent spa and pool, magnifiscent fittness room! The only negative feature of this hotel could be its location, approximately 1.5km from the downtown warsaw and 3km from the Old Town. However, taxes are reasonably inexpensive. Strongly recommend this hotel. Had lots of positive emotions after celebrating new year there!

A very luxurious hotel which manages to feel individual which is good considering that it's part of a large chain. Very comfortable rooms - clean and modern - with interesting views over Warsaw (I stayed on the 9th and 26th floors). Fantastic bathroom with a big walk in shower and proper toiletries. I had dinner in the hotel restaurant which was good for such a large hotel, and with great service. Breakfast was served in the same place and set me up for the day. Given that that I walked in without a reservation the second time I was there and got charged less than the first time (when I reserved through expedia) I left even more happy! The only criticisms are that it's a little out of the way, their hotel taxi is really expensive as is the internet connection in the room. But I intend to go back when I next need to stay in Warsaw.
