Hotel Hetman - Warsaw, Poland     

We have stayed 2 nights at Hotel Hetman from 13-15 June. The hotel was great and Warsaw is a lovely place to chill out. The hotel is located on a quiet street on the other side of the river from the old town- it takes about 20 minutes on foot. From the Warsaw international airport, we took bus number 175 to the city centre and caught 517 to Duvorzec Wilenski. You get off when you see the big sign 'Carrefour' and it's about 5 minutes walk to the hotel from the bus stop. The whole journey took about 45 minutes and cost 5.60 pln per person. The area was safe and very quiet. Reception staff were friendly and spoke good English. Check in/out was very easy. Our twin room on the 5th floor was very spacious and clean. It also had a nice view of churches and buildings. The king single beds were very comfortable. The bathroom and shower were spacious with excellent water pressure. Breakfast included in the rate was excellent. Good range of quality hot food (scrambled eggs, sausages/black puddings & potato pancakes) and cold food (cold meat, salad, cheese, yogurt, fruits) were offered. Two breakfasts we had were slightly different so it was nice having a variety. Breakfast room was clean and bright. Near the hotel, you can find a shopping mall, zoo, cinema and a big park. The area isn't lively with restaurants and bars but Porto Praga which supposedly serves best cocktails in Poland is nearby (5 minutes walk). We only tried cocktails at Porto Praga but food also looked nice. It was an upmarket place where diners were nicely dressed. Cocktails were definitely nice and waiting staff there were extremely friendly and professional. Overall, Hotel Hetman provides good location, friendly staff and excellent breakfast at reasonable rate. I would definitely recommend Hotel Hetman. Enjoy Warsaw!!

La habitación y el baño eran amplios y limpios. (Aunque nos alojamos en una habitación superior doble) No te preocupes por la ubicación. El transporte público en el área es excelente. Nosotros acostumbrábamos caminar a la ciudad vieja (1 Km en cada dirección) tanto a la noche como en el día.
