3This hotel doesn't really look much on the approach but what a difference once you are inside.
The staff are very friendly and attend to your needs without any hesitation. The lounge is very nice and they offer decent food without having to go into the restaurant.
Check in was very swift and efficient.
The room was on the fifth floor and within the club regency which has it's own lounge where you can enjoy breakfast in the morning and in the evening cocktails are provided, all included in the price.
My room was very well appointed, well equipped and loads of space. The tv was adequate and the bathroom was fantastic. The shower is out of this world. You are provided with everything you need, ie bathrobe, every size towel, flannels, loofah, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, make up pads, cotton buds, nail file, sewing kit, boot cloth, boot bags.
There is a hairdryer in the room, which ladies, is a good fast one not one that just reluctantly puffs at your hair.
There is a kettle and provisions for coffee and tea. A mini bar is provided on an electronic sensor system but water was complimentary. Oh and you get free apples in the room also.
The bed was very comfortable with adequate pillows provided and you also get evening service should you require any further towels, bed made again etc.
The only complaint I had was that it was too hot in the room, this was, however easily remedied by making a call to number 4 from the telephone and requesting the heat be turned down to the desired temperaure. You have to do this everyday though as they turn it back up in the afternoon of the following day.
All in all a lovely hotel, which I would stay in again and again, only maybe not in Warsaw!
PS: in case any of you have been and wondered what the bird noises were coming from outside when there is not a bird in sight, well I found out it's a bird scaring device, which is on a sensor. Might sound strange but if you go, you'll hear it and wonder what the heck it is.
