"Very nice hotel; decent location"Posted: Mon, Nov 23 2009Value:
3We spent two nights at the Westin Warsaw as part of a tour in July 2005. It was the best hotel of the seven on that trip.
This hotel is fairly new - they told us at the desk they'd been open about two years. The rooms and common areas are contemporary and very clean. Our room was not all that large, but it was extremely comfortable and nicely furnished. The beds were, indeed, 'heavenly' and comfortable, with nice linens. The marble bath had a separate tub and shower and nice amenities. The breakfast buffet included with our room was very substantial. Service was very efficient and pleasant.
There are other hotels that are closer to the main sghts of Warsaw, but I did not mind the 15-minute walk to Old Town or the Royal Way at all. We found cabs to be plentiful and inexpensive when we needed them.
