3We stayed three nights at the Qubus hotel, and were very pleased with our stay. It is a new building, and is very airy and comfortable. The rooms are medium size, and come with a TV with built-in computer. The bathroom was spotless, modern and done to a high standard.
Breakfast is a typical Germanic-Polish affair. Nothing special, but decent enough. The one complaint would be that some of the bread wasn't always very fresh. We also tried the restaurant one night, which was a nice experience.
There is a little noise from outside, and although I am very sensitive to that, I had no problems sleeping or relaxing. Our window was on the noisier side of the building.
The location was fine for us. It's about 15 minutes walk into the old town of Krakow, which is ideal. It gives you the opportunity to spend at least some time outside of the touristy places and get a flavour of local life. The Jewish district is just around the corner and worth a visit, followed by dinner in one of the excellent restaurants.
Overall, I was happy with my stay here. There was a slight hint of charming amateurism in the hotel (as in the rest of Krakow), but that didn't really bother me, as it makes it all the more interesting. Four stars for me.
