Dining

Restaurant in the „Hotel pod Wawelem” – 60 places – second from the LaStrada group, this time serving international cuisine. The character of this place combines modern architectonic solutions with a charming view over the historical Wawel hill.

In the hotel basements there is bar that serves mouth-watering cocktails and those that are a great summary for the hearty meal as well as dozens world – famous types of beer.

Great music, young, effective and friendly staff as well as the location of those places – are definitely making our restaurant and a bar worth visiting.

All the reviews on this are spot on and I am glad we switched our booking. Only 2 years old, so everything is modern, with suberb fixtures and fittings. breakfast very good hot and cold, plenty choice. We tried the hotel restaurant the first night as we had just arrived and found it so good and reasonable we ate there every night. The rooftop bar and restaurant is used in the summer[ unless it rains] and provides what must be one of the best views in krakow over the river and castle. On the opposite side of town to the train and bus station, but a tram from wawel takes you up there very easily for 2.5 zlots. staff great and we would definitely use it again if we return.
