The hostel is located in the vibrant Kazimierz district, in the centre of Krakow. It is in close proximity to Wawel Castle, the main market square, central station and the shopping district. Good Bye Lenin is also in the middle of Krakow's vibrant nightlife, close to its lively bars, cafes, clubs and live entertainment.
The hostel’s 24 hour reception offers all the tourist information that guests may need. They can also arrange tours and activities in advance, including visits to Auschwitz, Wieliczka Saltmine and Tatra Mountains.
Travel information
By Tram:
From the railway or bus station, take tram number 13.
Exit the tram at Miodowa, the 3rd stop.
Walk back 50 metres onto Starowislna Street towards the old city centre. You will see our Good Bye Lenin Hostel sign on the intersection of Starowislna and Berka Joselewicza streets.
At this intersection, turn right onto Berka Joselewicza Street.
After 30 metres you will see an iron gate on your right.
Pass the gate, don’t worry, Good Bye Lenin and a warm welcome await you straight ahead.
On Foot:
Walk for 10 minutes along Westerplatte Street.
Turn left into Starowislna Street.
Walk for 300 metres crossing Dietla Street: the 1st crossroads.
Still on Starowislna Street after 100 metres follow our huge neon sign on the left.
After 30 metres, pass the iron gate on your right.
