Ostoya Palace Hotel details: Ostoya Palace Hotel - a 19th century Polish palace located in the historical centre of Krakow, meticulously restored and converted into a newly-opened, four-star historical hotel. We are convinced that you will be enchanted by the beauty of the restored interior, the unique atmosphere, the discreet service, elegance and luxury.
The following facilities are at your disposal:
24 comfortable, palace rooms and apartments of the highest standard, with a unique interior (including: 2 suites, 16 double rooms, 2 twin rooms, and 4 single rooms), a restaurant, bar and lounge, club-room, banquet/conference hall, and a sauna.

The Ostaszewski Palace was built in 1895. This palatial residence is a valuable relic of late 19th century architecture and art: the interiors feature rich decorations on the plafond, architectural details and furnishings. The palace is yet another valuable example of the work of the outstanding architect, Mr. Józef Pokutyński. It was entered in the list of historical buildings.
Here, we preserve the Krakow salon tradition and the ancient Polish custom of boundless hospitability combining elegance, discretion and culture with the art of feasting, enjoyment and merrymaking. You will find a warm and homely atmosphere, allowing you to satisfy your appetite and quench your thirst, as well as enjoy a feast for the senses during meetings among friends and acquaintances.
In this two-floor relic of 19th century palatial architecture, entered in the list of Krakow’s historical buildings, you will find stylish, air-conditioned interiors and professionally trained staff. The cosiness, convenience and comfort of air-conditioned, stylish rooms will satisfy even the most demanding customer. The varied, elegant and harmonious interiors can also satisfy the needs of tourists, business people, diplomats and families on weekend trips.
The services offered by our hotel will allow you to:
relax in safe and comfortable conditions; savour the variety of specially prepared meals; discover the unique charm of our city, so full of secrets and mysteries; get to know Krakow’s history, the way of life of its inhabitants, their unique perspective of the world and customs, discover the truth hidden within the walls of historical townhouses and churches; spend a great time in the city which, since the middle ages, has vibrated with the life of its residents who loved to amuse themselves (“... as it was in Krakow that the royal court resided, championing all kinds of festivities for the enjoyment of the residents, their laughter and amusement...”); enjoy the personal attention and the highest standard of services offered; have a good time with your friends, attend concerts, poetry readings, shows, exhibitions and other events; organise professionally prepared training sessions or business meetings; hold celebrations for employees; arrange receptions; have all your individual wishes fulfilled; and have your transportation arranged.

If I had not payed for the Hotel up front I would have checked out within 2 hours. Room 17 is not like the Photo on the Web site. When we booked we were assured a room like the photo. Restaurant food was luke warm and a bottle of Chablis would have been 280 Slotty (?70). No tea and coffee making facilities so rang down for room service. Two cups, not a pot as asked for came to ?14. What a rip off. Bed was rock hard, Shower was small and very dangerous as it wet the whole bathroom floor, one slip and you were a gonna. Bar in the Basement was a total rip off so went into the town square which is 10 minutes walk. Dining out can be as cheep or expensive as you want it to be. Aqua and Vino Italian restaurant was exelent and reasonably priced. We wanted our room for an extra hour before we left for the airport so we could have a shower. We were charged ?50 for the privelidge. Krakow is a fantastic town that is a must for tourists but not this hotel. beware!!!!!!!

Perfect position, perfect rooms and perfect price. If you want to stay in a boutique style hotel then this is the one for you. It is a restored palace and the rooms are absolutely lovely and quite stylish. The breakfast each morning is fantastic if you love the continental meats and pickles and cheeses Eastern Europe is famous for. Just a stroll away from the town square and where all the fab restaurants are. If you love french food then you MUST go to Cyrano de Bergerac. It's in a medieval basement so quaint and romantic and oh my god the food is the best french food outside of France. BIG tip. To see aushwitz and the salt mines in one day - book a driver through the hotel. It is the best way and also, your driver is good at getting tickets past the queues at the Salt Mines. Don't do thru the big tour companies. Pay the money for a private driver. You won't regret it.
