The Orchids Resort - Boracay, Philippines 

My boyfriend and I spent 9 nights at the Orchids and we had an amazing time! We'd definitely go back! We picked The Orchids because of the budget price so we were really pleasantly surprised to discover it also had a great location (quiet end of the beach, tucked just out of the way), it was clean and peaceful, and had very helpful and friendly staff & management. We loved the leafy green courtyard complete with hammocks, and drinking free coffee and tea sat on our verandah! We felt we got a great deal for our money. I've been travelling for several months now so I've seen my share of budget accommodation. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for real hospitality and relaxation :)

The Orchids is the kind of laid back place that most of the island was when I first went in 1994. Very good management and staff and a great bargain in a place where budget accomodations are harder to find. Highly recommend!
