On the plus side, although it is outside Oslo it literally is between 5 & 10 minutes by bus into the heart of Oslo. If you are going to sight see, buy a day travel card on the bus which gives you unlimited travel on tube, tram, bus & boat. Not all buses sell them however so wait for one that does so you don't pay more than you need to). In addition, if you are flying in with Ryan Air & arriving at the Torp airport, it is en route from the airport & the airport coach into Oslo will drop you off at Lysaker station on the way (you will have to get a taxi from here though but it's only 2 mins & will cost approx 130Kr). The bus stop from the hotel is a 5 min walk & as it's outside Oslo, you can smell the fresh, clean Norweigan air.. Read review

Some nice jogging tracks nearby and well appointed their staff very helpful and courteous. The breakfast buffet pretty good.

Narrow hotel room and small bed.
