The hotel looks nice, and so do the rooms. The room is big enough, and the bathroom is Ok. There is free parking at the back of the hotel. The location is great: at easy walking distance from the nice centre of the city. I found the rooms very noisy, however, and did not have a good night sleep. Noises from neighbouring rooms were easily audible in mine.

The hotel has an easy to find location and a very friendly staff. Rooms are comfortable and at the front have a pleasant canalside view. The surrounding district is very interesting and it is well worth while visiting nearby places such as Kampen, Blokzijl, Geithorn and Staphorst. My wife and I thoroiughly enjoyed our stay there and will be going back very soon.
