Comfort Inn Universal Area - Orlando, USA 

Despite all of the bad reviews I read before arriving I could not fault this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, the free breakfast was a welcome start to the day and the beds were made up every day and fresh towels, soap and moisturising cream replaced. The park shuttles were very busy, but even if you were first in line there were always people who would come late and push in front of everyone. The shuttles are run by an independant company and not the hotel. If you are looking for a cheap holiday then this is the place to book, its not a 5* hotel but it is somewhere to sleep after a long tiring day!!!!!!!!

We were really worried about staying here for two weeks after reading the bad reviews. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel was clean (if a little dated) and the room was comfortable. The breakfast was a good start to the day and the free shuttles were adequate. Any problems were sorted reasonably quickly. Staff at reception were not very friendly but got the job done. However, At the beginning of our second week we returned to one of the rooms to find that all of our belongings had been stolen and the room was tossed about. When we reported this to staff at reception they told us to wait while they continued to check other customers in. They were very unhelpful and reluctant to act at all. Be warned that this hotel is open to all given its motel like layout. We moved to the Clarion Universal just up the road, a far superior hotel with excellent, friendly staff who are willing to help in any way possible. For your own security I would not recommend staying in the Comfort Inn especially if you have children.
