Le Meridien Sunny Isles Beach - Sunny Isles Beach, USA 

My wife and I were given this facility through Priceline. We were expecting a small room and no attention as was previously stated. However, we were elated with our 4 day stay at this facility. The staff was always courteous and knowledgeable. Guillermo at the Concierge was fabulous as was Christian at the bar. The restaurant and room service food was pricey, but well worth it. We would definitely return on a future trip. We were booked in a regular room but they offered to upgrade us to the king suite for $75 per night. We decided to take them up on the offer, but were never charged the extra money.

We stayed in the Meridian for the first part of our honeymoon. It was such a disappointment from start to finish! It was late when we arrived in and we ordered room service; it took over 30mins for anyone to answer the phone and most of the food on the menu wasn't available. All the food lin the place left a lot to be desired. Room service then phoned our room nearly 2 hours later (at 2am) looking for our credit card details (which we had given to reception on arrival). The room itself was quite small - esp giving the price we were paying - the bathroom was very nice though! There was a hole in the bedsheet; however, this was changed the next day when we notified staff. We were only there for 3 nights and we were woken up by somebody banging on our door 2 of the nights - the last night was at 5am - someone shouting and banging. It's really far away from the nightlife - took about 30mins or more in a taxi to head out. Not a hotel I'd recommend to anyone, awful for honeymooners!
