Before arrival in Krakow, we had to mess the hotel about a bit changing quantity of rooms which we needed, but they never lost their patience & were always flexible.
This hotel is ideal in every way, its location is on a lovely quiet street yet turn out of the hotel & take another right & you are right on the street which leads to the square.
Mini Spa & Steam rooms etc was fab. Great rooms, some with separate lounge area (suite) Flat screen LCD TV (UK SKY News)
Staff ever so helpful & nothing was ever too much trouble.
The hotel has some fabulous restaurants right opposite including the Miod Malina DO NOT GO TO KRAKOW & NOT VISIT THIS RESTAURANT!!
One very very small criticism of the hotel, they should let some natural light into the breakfast room, it was too dark in there (blinds always down) not good when you're trying to get started for the day, great breakfast though.
I wouldn't stay anywhere else when I return to Krakow which will have to be soon as it really floated my boat!

We celebrated New Year in Krakow (which we'd done last year). Last year we stayed at the Europejski which is a very short walk from the train station although slightly longer walk into Rynek Glowny (the main square). It's not a huge distance though but the position of the Wawel is just off Grodska and therefore much more central. Wawel was more modern and the rooms were spacious. Staff were extremely friendly and we would have no hesitation in recommending it or using it again. They also do 'apartments' although because I asked to see these I'd just describe them more as very very big rooms ! They don't have separate bedrooms so you might end up paying a bit more but still all be in the same room. Overall though Wawel was great and we again enjoyed our stay in Poland.
