Residence Mirabeau - Aix-en-Provence, France     

Apart from the fact that the minimum stay is 4 nights (i.e. you can't check out early without paying for at least 4 nights), I found this aparthotel pleasant and clean. There were only two minor aspects that I did not like about the Residhome. One was that in our room for two, there was no real bed - but a pull out sofa that wasn't exactly the most comfortable. The other was that the reception desk's hours are kind of inconvenient. Because it's an aparthotel, we didn't get our bed made or fresh towels every day. However, the atmosphere was nice, the room was tidy and sanitary, and the rates were really good. And free WiFi was included. Also, if you're planning to stay a while in Aix, the rooms have a stovetop and a refridgerator, so you can cook for yourself if you don't want to eat out for every meal. I recommend this hotel to travelers who are planning an extended stay in Aix.
