La Reine Astrid is located in Lyon, in the heart of the new Business and Congress area. Unique 4 Star All Suites in Lyon located in front of the 'Parc de la Tête d'Or' (with zoo, lake, botanic garden). The Ground floor (Restaurant, Bar, Front Desk) has been completed renovated during summer 2005.
The 88 air conditioned suites offer an example of balance between the 4 star services of a traditional All Suites (WIFI internet access, self service business centre 24hours a day) and the warmth and functionality of a private apartment (fully equipped kitchen, laundry). Lounge Bar-Restaurant and light food is available in the La Reine Astrid restaurant or in the garden terrace. Four meeting rooms with daylight, can accommodate up to 180 people for cocktails (2 of them are Executive meeting rooms). A new Fitness Centre renovated in February 2004 with sauna, steam bath and exercise room add to the ambience.

This is a charming Hotel situated just out of the city but within walking distancealong the picturesque riverside. The suite we had was
large and beautifully furnished with a full kitchen. We stayed on the
weekend and unfortunately for our travelling companions the restaurant did not open on the weekend. Didn't worry us though as there are a surfeit of great restaurants in the city. Lyon is a beautiful city and we found the people very friendly including the staff of the Reine Astrid.
Would have appreciated more tea etc in the rooms but otherwise really
enjoyed our short stay.

Warm welcome, helpful and attentive despite a number of couples and parties checking in at the same time. An immediate impression of professionalism set the scene for an enjoyable stay in this lovely serviced apartment located opposite a beautiful park in Lyon.
Great restaurant in-house a bonus as the apartment complex is located away from the Old Cite and the centre of Lyon's famous restaurants. Charming hosts made for several enjoyable nights.
Negatives were few - poor maintenance in the apartment meant some of the fixtures were not in good repair. Being well away from the centre of Lyon was both a negative and a plus. Too far to walk after a night out but great for a slow stroll back after sight seeing during the day.
