We, five and an infant, stayed twice for two days (to see the rugby). All the rooms (and we used 6 of them in the two stays) were clean and well appointed. They did vary in size but all were adequate. The rooms at the back were very quiet and the ones at the front overlooked the bar Le Corail and had plenty to watch from the large windows. The staff were very pleasant and friendly; of course you had to give in the keys when you went out - otherwise a good number would get lost and that is costly as well as inconvenient. We never had to wait long to get them back. The breakfast was good although we arrived too late each morning (close to 10am) to see the full display! The location is brilliant with a good 24 hour car park underneath Montoulon Park (good playground facilities for children of all ages) just opposite the hotel. Near Restaurant Papillon (excellent) and the Bistro au General (excellent) not far from Galeries Lafayette. Metro stop just near by. And for the price, it is excellent. We will return on our next visit to Paris.

We stayed at this hotel in early July. I must say after reading all the reviews i was worried, however when we arrived the hotel took me by suprise. We were originally put in a room which had a really stale smell and seemed very dirty, the hotel also had scaffolding on the front so there were workers right outside our window, so being 3 young females we asked to be moved to another room. The manager agreed to this and we were put in a very small room, but it was neat, clean and tidy, no insects or bugs, and the the bathroom was actually really good, and clean. The service at the hotel was great although the language barrier can sometimes be a problem when asking for things like blankets or towels. The breakfast was a nice start to the day and most importantly the metro down near McDonalds is not even a 5min walk away and takes you directly to all the major areas in Paris! Also, if you want a great meal and good service go to the Regent only 2min walk just left of the hotel. Overall, we were content with the hotel for the price. There are however a few hotels near this one which are 3 startalso but are much better, try the Best Western.
