Acro Hotel details: The Acro Hotel is a unique hotel, situated in one of the most beautiful residential areas of Amsterdam. Despite its charming, peaceful surroundings, it is only a stone's throw from the lively cultural centre of Amsterdam. Behind the facade of a large, impressive
mansion is the Acro Hotel, a modern, functional tourist-class hotel
with all facilities, much more than you would expect from a hotel of
this category.

My husband and I travelled to Amsterdam and the hotel Acro with easyjet holidays. Caught the shuttle bus from airport that took us straight to our hotel (38 euro return). Check-in was swift and staff very friendly, we were given a map of Amsterdam and directions for getting into town. The hotel is in a quiet tree lined street, but only 5 minutes from the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam. Room and bathroom were small, but very clean and perfect for a 4 day trip. Breakfast was excellent.

We stayed here for four nights. The location was perfect for the Museums and Albert Cuyp Market and Leidseplein. Tram stop one minute walk from hotel. The rooms were compact but large enough for a short break. TV was ok plenty of English speaking channels. The bar was handy and the prices were the same as the bars outside ( 9 Euros for two pints) The breakfast was good with lovely coffee. Overall the hotel was clean very warm and reasonable value for money. Just bar in mind that Amsterdam has become very expensive to eat and drink so fill up on the hotel breakfast, it will keep you going till evening.
