Below in point form. Positives * good range of television channels. * friendly staff * nice part of town, away from the hustle and bustle / over ridden with tourist areas. close to museums, paradiso, etc. * everything functional * on tram line, 10-15 minutes to Amsterdam Centraal. Negatives * Tiny room. * No lift / very steep stairs * To my knowledge, no "hotel" facilities such as sauna, spa, breakfast (if there was, I was not informed at any stage), mini bar, table. miscellaneous notes * my window opened, unlike some other people's stories Overall, I found this place to be clean and tidy, but not worth what I paid for it. I realise Amsterdam is an expensive city, but I got a similar last minute deal in Rotterdam for a much nicer hotel for a fair bit cheaper. Staff were friendly and accommodating. However, the room was very tiny, and lacking in many features.

Please do not stay at this Hotel. They have no stars and no classification. You can verify this at the VVV/Tourist Office. A hotel in Holland must have a lift to be 3* and the bedrooms and bathrooms must be a certain size with an outside window. Complain and ask for your money back. They do not display any classification as they have none. Even if you have stayed in the past at this Hotel write a lettter of complaint and ask for your money back.
