Stayed here over Easter and found it a very good experience with the only down side being a very small room and could not change the room as hotel was full, well worth emailing the hotel a couple of days before asking for a particular room. We were on the 1st floor with the window facing on the main road which was a little bit noisy throughout the night but acceptable. Breakfast was included in our rate and was all you could ask for hot and cold buffet, some people were even making up rolls to take out for the day and no one complained. Can recommend the HaesJe Claes restaurant directly across from the hotel A1 Dutch food, try the Stampot. Also Humphrey’s restaurant just off Nieuwe zijds street (one street across from the hotel) towards the station end, full address 23 Nieuwe zijds kolk. Open 17:00 to 22:00, great set three course menu that changes each month. We caught the train from the airport only €3.60 for a single and only 20 minutes to Amsterdam central station then 10 minute walk to hotel. The trains run every 15 minutes from platform 13A and you can get your ticket the day before you depart as well. You can also catch a train to visit the gardens of Keukenhof with their flower displays. You need to catch the number 54 bus once you arrive at Lieden station and the bus ticket, €18, includes entry to the gardens. Hotel was excellent value and perfect location.

Hi.<br>Our best convention was in Athens. Excellent business hotels with all meetings facilities, exlusive services, and historical side of Athens. Find on facebook the page of Athens convention bureau, become a fan and then u will have all and fresh informations without spending long time looking for them. It was helpfull for us when we were planning our convention there.

The &quot;delux&quot; room isn&#039;t. Even by Amsterdam hotel standards, these are very small rooms. No air cond or mini bar - how does this get 3 stars??

Amsterdam Hotel Reccomendation

NH City Center Hotel is along the SingelCanal in Spuistraat -- right. The Spui tram stop is about 40 yds from the hotel. We have stayed here several times, because of LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! The noisy main Squares (Rembrandtplein, Leidsplein, and Dam Square) are too noisy and mobbed, and the street noise can be difficult when you want to sleep. At NH City Center, you're within walking distance, but feel as though you're in Amsterdam's Amsterdam. Quaint cafes and streets, locals abound. Rooms are "Europe small" but beautifully appointed with in rrom safes, fridge, coffee/tea in room, modern bathrooms, WiFi, and delicious pillows! Plus you have all the advantages of the Spui -- plentiful trams etc. (Spui i pronounced "sprow" - in case you're asng for tram infromation!) We higly recommend this hotel -- but skip oin the breakfast which is pricy!
