The location was good and the hotel was comparatively cheap. The room was about as big as my home bathroom, the attractive looking exterior shown in photos was anything and the staff were great. The shower was nice and clean. . Read review

Travel information
By Train & tram: From Schiphol airport, take the train to Amsterdam central station. It is about 15 minutes ride. From the central station take tram number 1, 2, or 5 and get off at Leidseplein. Marnix Street (straat) is the next street to your right. Turn right to Marnix Street and walk 200 meters, pass the little bridge, until you see the hotel on your left hand side. Please remember that the trams are running until about 24:00, so after that you will need to use a taxi. It is a 5 to 10 minutes drive.
By taxi: Alternatively, you could take a taxi from Schiphol airport. It is about 20 to 30 minutes ride. The prices are around 30 to 40 Euros.

Not too far from Central station, bright street lights and the location was good for bars. The staff was friendly, shared bathroom were clean and the breakfast was nice and unexpected.
The surrounding area is awesome, for a two stars budget hotel this is a perfect place and the 24 hour reception thing is really good. The breakfast is free.
