Location: 4-5 minute walk from central railway station. Reception, hallways: hostel standard. The stairs are very narrow. I have no difficulties moving around, but still had problems going downstairs. Room: single room facing the Damrak. Depressing, worn, small. No hooks for clothes in room, or in bathroom. Staff: friendly, very helpful (at least if you are friendly yourself). Breakfast in restaurant downstairs: not very much but ok, you sit down, they serve you.

Nous sommes arrivés à à 11h et notre chambre n'était disponible qu'à 13h, nous avons donc laissé nos bagages à la réception. Revenus à 13h, nous avons constaté qu'un de nos deux sacs avait été volé, l'hotel ne voulant pas prendre de responsabilité. Nous avons passé le reste de la journée à faire une déclaration à la police, appeler l'assurance, et attendre que le manager regarde les vidéos de surveillance sur lesquelles il n'a mystérieusement rien trouvé. Je déconseille donc très fortement cet hotel.

Truly awful. There were 5 of use staying in a room on the top floor. The place was unkempt. There were no redeeming feature whatsoever. There was plenty of grafitti on the walls in our room!! The staff were pretty chilled out though, but I guess that's how a lot of people are in Amsterdam. All in all, this "hotel" is grim.
