0.7We stayed at the Botel 8,9 June, 2008. We arrived at 1300 and had to wait another hour for check in. We did go to the nearby restaurant which had good food. We checked into room 227. The shower did not drain, the front desk person did not care, but did offer to switch us to 235. No offer of assistance, no apologies, no compensation, etc. The rooms are small, but that is not a problem. Most staterooms on ships are the same size. They had lovely warm comforters on the bed, but it was 25 degrees C, so a sheet would have been nice. No top sheet on bed, just huge comforter.
Then our confirmation stated breakfast included, but I did not have it printed out, silly me. They offered us breakfast at 10 euros per person, per night. Somehow, no breakfast is worth that much, especially since we were leaving too early the second day to even have had breakfast.
The ferry takes about 10 minutes to get to the Centraal station, so it is rather inconvenient. Prices in Amsterdam are outrageously expensive, but no more Botel. Oh yes, the Private Spice channel was interesting................
