Very Impressed with this hotel

Myself and my husband and our 19 year old son stayed here over mid term break in a triple room. I was a little wary since previous photos on the review made it look dark and dreary. It was only a 7 minute(no 48) bus ride from Central Station(look out for the Burger King on the right) Buses are punctual, warm and clean. The hotel is in a business area so nothing to wander about and look at. Who cares about the view? The decor is quite contemporary. The ensuite is in a pod-like, curved room and has a great power shower! Exceptionally clean & bright.Cosy duvets , fresh towels and toiletries every day. Staff were very friendly and speak English. The only down side I can report was going for an evening meal and they had run out of some of the choices on the Menu. Otherwise I would be very happy to return and highly recommend it

Just come back from this hotel, after spending 3 great nights there. The Hotel is great, rooms are spotless, nice bar, nice food and friendly staff. We had a triple room, which isn't massive, but it was fine for us. The hotel isn't in the centre of Amsterdam, but it's no trouble getting there. Bus picks up out front of the hotel, and costs 2 euros 40 for a single. You can get a ticket which saves you 30%, but we didn't in the end, it was cheap enough any way. It takes about 10 mins into Dam square. Last bus back from centre is at 12:15am on the dot. A taxi cost us 15 euros from the centraal station. We had a brilliant time in Amsterdam, and will definitely be staying back at the Ibis next time we are there. One more thing. There is a Burger king next door to hotel :)

5 Lads went for a 3 day stay. 10 minute taxi ride to the Red Light district.(5 seater cost us about 18 euro)The hotel is based in the industrial area but it is fine. Hotel is spotless, staff are friendly and efficient....towels changed each day, etc. No hesitation in recommending this hotel and would stay here again.

Nicht zentral gelegen, ist aber neu
Posted: Fri, Feb 17 2006
