This hotel has only one thing going for it - location. It's close to the Central Station and in a good neighbourhood. Other than that, not much to recommend. Smallest room I"ve ever had in my life with no services. That means no room cleaning in 4 days I was there, soap dispensers were empty in floor WC and shower, lumpy bed mattress, fire alarm went off for almost an hour but there was no fire. The price for the large walk-in closet that was my room I guess was good for Amsterdam. Again, the plus is the location.

This place is fine. You get what you pay for so it certainly isn't luxurious, but it was clean enough and we were dealt with courteously and efficiently when we arrived. It was a bit noisy out in the street and it was basic, but it would suit people that aren't too fussy and only intend to use it as a place to crash.

The receptionist had had a bad day and we wore the brunt of it. She did not have our booking - it was good we took our confirmation with us - the people before us were having a similar problem. It took nearly 40 minutes to check in, and 12 hours and 3 requests to get towels. There was no soap in the showers and there was no more to be had. We had to pay cash on arrival and could not get a receipt as the computer was "down". Other than this the stay was very good. Location was excellent. No breakfast, but plenty of outside options.

The location of the Hotel is great! It is directly in the "Jordan", which is one of the nicest districts of Amsterdam. 10 Minutes away from the Central Station and 15 Minutes away from the redlight district. The Lady behind the counter was unfriendly, but the rest of the Stuff was quite nice. The rooms in generally were quite clean, but the sheets on the beed were over and over sprinkled with dirty spots (I dont wont to know in detail which dirt it was). After my complaint I received fresh sheets. The shower in the third floor had mildow on the ceiling, because it had no Window. So all in all it was not bad - I allready had rooms and hotels which were worse.
