3.1The directions to the hotel were confusing and could be more clear, such as using a tram, bus or metro to get to Amstel Station, then what direction to walk. When we arrived we had a new employee training, and he was friendly and polite, and I'm sure he'll get faster using the credit card machine. The room was fairly small, but clean and the bed surprisingly comfortable. Breakfast was okay--the coffee was good and the employees very nice. A small store selling cold beer, snacks and toiletries at budget prices would be appreciated.
