In the centre of the red light district, not far from central station and shopping facilities in the immediate vicinity. Good bar in hotel and a charming 250 year old building. Very helpful staff and nice shower. . Read review

The location is great, positioned in the red light district so close to all that draws people to Amsterdam and dam square etc. Also the staff are brilliant - very friendly and breakfast is good.
The overall impression is poor as a result of high price for you get and bad smell at rooms.
The location was as good as gets for Amsterdam and helpful staff - even they did not smile very much. Bath were clean, the 24 hour bar was brilliant and the breakfast was great.
Great location right in the heart of the action, i know 1 star hotels in Amsterdam are the best experience for feeling the history and staff are very friendly and helpful. Also the 24-hour bar is a good asset.
