Dark, seedy, dirty, stinking & overpriced. Ok if you want to lock yourself in a room and take hallucinogenics for a weekend as the telly works OK. This place has had no maintenance work done of any description for AT LEAST 20 years. I wouldn't give this place any stars at all, it's disgusting. For the same money you can stay further into the center of Amsterdam and have a much nicer room. Shop around. This place is unpleasant.

Well the Hotel was simple and basic. Our room was on the top floor and you got there via three flights of very steep stairs... not for the faint hearted! we had an 'en-suit' which was tiny and in need of a good re-fit.
Position was good for getting around BUT I would not stay there again when I return to Amsterdam... think that says it all.
