The location is fantastic, will most likely return to this hotel and chilled out staff no noise from outside not that we cared we had a great time will definetly be staying there on my next visit in july. Wifi is free is hardly found in accommodation in Amsterdam. . Read review

Staying at the Rookies was wonderful The location has got to be the best for walking and the stay at the Hotel Uptown/Rookies was typically great. The staff were friendly and helpful, room service was a huge plus, the cooked breakfast was also good. . Read review

An easy way to get to the rookies from schipol airport is to catch the 197 bus, the hotel location is ideal - there are many small restaurants. . Read review

Great position, good hotel nice and clean, the staff was very polite and welcoming. The rooms were cleaned everyday and breakfast was well presented. The owner was friendly and helpful. . Read review

Excellent Location in the middle of Amsterdam Night Life and the staff are extremely helpful and pleasant.

The hotel is located on a very busy street, little space room and also i think that breakfast starts too late as well as the reception is not open more than 8-16.30 - is ok for pleasure.

The location is perfect for getting around amsterdam, staff are friendly & helpful & provide an adequate breakfast to start your day.

The Hotel Uptown or Rookies Hotel as now called is a small hotel, because of the noise you have to keep the windows closed.
