Hotel Ibis Amsterdam Centre - Amsterdam, Netherlands     

We stayed here on the 28/12/2007 Firstly great location next to the train station, great staff, clean hotel and close to the tourist sites but........... The rooms are very compact and the bathrooms are really small. The taxis que up along the front of the hotel with a chap blowing a whistle to direct them into the station until the early hours!!! Hotel is not particually cheap either Stay here with the above in mind!!!!!

Stayed one night in this hotel. It is located in the center of Amsterdam : the good thing is that you are in the middle of everything with train and bus very close to the hotel, the bad thing is this is quite noisy ... The rooms on the back of the hotel are only a few meters from the railway station, and there are trains passing almost all along the night. If possible ask for a room on the front, they should be less noisy. Rooms are just ok, I would say in the low/middle range of a typical Ibis hotel. Bathromm was with an italian shower (no basin). One good point is the lobby, which is quite nice. Breakfast is good and well served. Finally, at 120€ a night, it is one of the most expensive ibis I have ever tested !
