Tulip Inn Dam Square - Amsterdam, Netherlands 

"Perfect Location"

I stayed in the Tulip Inn Dam Square for one night in November. It is in a perfect location right smack in the middle of Amsterdam. The staff were efficent and friendly and the rooms were clean and pleasant. If you are plannig a tshort break this is an ideal place to stay. Overall was very happy with it.

First time to Amsterdam, hotel location is great and the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Recommend this hotel for anyone that wants to stay close to central station, shopping, and the infamous red light district

If your flying into Amsterdam, taxis from the airport will cost you round £35-£50 your best bet is use the train they are every 15 Min's to the center station and costs round £7 they are clean quite and comfortable,also the station staff speak English and will help you when buying a ticket.

We had an attic room with no view or window only a large velux type roof light. It could be opened to allow good ventilation and for a winter visit it was fine. The room was adequate with tea and coffee making facilities. the bathroom was small but very modern. We would recommend this hotel as it provided good accommodation for the price and it is situated just off Dam Square.
