  • We stayed in a double room for 2 nights, and having read one of the previous reviews we feared the worse. However, the hotel is lovely - very friendly staff; conveniently located in the city centre just a quick walk from restaurants, attractions and nightlife; the most amazingly steep stairs in the world, worth a photo; and a nice (if limited) breakfast in a bright airy room. The windows let in all the noise of the trams rumbling past, all through the night about every 3 minutes, complete with BRRINGGG BRINNGGG noise every time they got to the junction. Otherwise, perhaps look elsewhere, or request a room not overlooking the street!. Read review

  • The bed was narrower than a child's twin bed. The total width of the room was less than my outstretched arms. I had to use the shower several times to heat the room.. Read review
